Cosponsors (groups from local faith communities, academic institutions, businesses and civic clubs) are key players in the process of welcoming refugees  to the Triangle. These groups of 6-10 individuals commit to assist a specific family with the process of transitioning into a new life here in NC.  We ask that any groups interested in co-sponsoring a new arrival please volunteer individually for at least a few months prior to applying for a co-sponsorship, to gain practice and experience in assisting with refugee resettlement. Please feel free to contact us with any questions, comments, or ideas as you explore the possibility of co-sponsorship.
